Modern cards originated in France and consisted of seventy eight cards; the gaming and tarot cards. The tarot cards were eventually separated from the deck to reduce the number of the cards. The cards were introduced to Europe and America, where the joker was included. Cards are quite inexpensive and almost everyone has a deck or two in their homes. Other folks collect cards from casinos, airlines and other establishments. Mostly these collectible cards have the logos of these establishments or businesses.

Poker and mini blackjack tables are popular with those who are gambling in casinos. They may vary from the standard type to the customized type. These gambling tables usually cost thousands of dollars. There are also cheaper versions like the do-it-yourself type of gambling tables that have their own blueprints.

Poker gambling gears are also a favorite among the guys who love the game. The standard requirements are grade cards, chips and dice sets. Some enthusiasts also add to their poker gear automatic card shufflers. Poker sets are most commonly found in homes of would-be pros and poker tournament fanatics. Colleges and even workplaces have put together poker groups as source of recreation and some hold occasional exclusive tournaments.

Another popular game is bingo. One can purchase the bingo kit which consists of bingo cards, ball cage, bingo balls and markers. In some cities, like Las Vegas, where gambling has been legalized, one way to boost the economy was to own lotteries.

Gambling equipments are sources of fun and recreation for most enthusiasts. May it be expensive or cheap, big or small, the object is to master the game and enjoy the thrill. Some collect these equipments as added attraction to their homes; while some, just for the pleasure of the game.
